CD4020B，CD4040B，CD4060 是一組行波進(jìn)位的二進(jìn)制計數(shù)器。構(gòu)成計數(shù)器的內(nèi)部觸發(fā)器均為主從觸發(fā)器。每來一個輸入脈沖負(fù)沿，計數(shù)器狀態(tài)就發(fā)生一位進(jìn)位；RESET 管腳加高電平時，將計數(shù)器每位置為全零狀態(tài)。CD4020B/CD4040B/CD4060B 在時鐘輸入端加有施密特觸發(fā)器，因此對輸入脈沖的上升沿和下降沿沒有特殊要求。這些計數(shù)器中，CD4060B 還引出了兩個輸入反饋端，因此，可直接構(gòu)成RC 或晶體時鐘振蕩器。所有的輸入和輸出端均有緩沖級。CD4020B,CD4040B 和CD4060B 的封裝形式有DIP16 和SOP16。
